Acceptable Stay Overall

bus stop easy access car park well-kept rooftop tour weak lamps main ceiling single-glazed windows outside noise poor soundproofing
The hotel offered a bus stop very close to the building, so the access to the town was easy. St James Park was nearby. We took a tour of the rooftop and stadium. The car park area was well kept.
My room had no main ceiling light, just a few weak lamps. This made it difficult to study properly. The windows seemed single-glazed, allowing outside noise to come straight through.

dirty spoons clogged kettle filter
The parking was good and sufficiently sized.
The room was not in good condition. I found dirty spoons in the room and the kettle filter was clogged (this made me uncomfortable). The room was dark, and I could not find any power outlets near the bed.

friendly staff ironing facilities prompt service pool fee broken lift rusty grab rails
the staff was friendly, doing their best to assist guests. i liked that ironing facilities was available in the bedroom. a fridge for medication was provided quickly after i asked for it.
the pool required a seven pounds fee per person to use. only one lift was working properly because the '2' button was broken. rust was visible on the bathroom grab rails.
